I met with Tobi for a three hours assessment and coaching session. His final words were. "Should I play rugby or take up Athletics? This was a no brainer. Tobi's natural body core strength and power was exceptional and the rest is history. Despite only training once a week, sprinter Toby Harries quickly made a big impression in athletics Sixteen-year-old Toby Harries broke the UK indoor under-17 200m record when clocking 21.46 to win the England Athletics Under-17 Indoor Championships in 2017.

Fellow Bobber excel to new heights
Nice to catch up with fellow RAF bobsled brakeman Graham Ricahrdson at Uppingham School. Graham and I won the 2-man RAF Championships many moons ago. Graham Richardson has joined the coaching team of Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton in September 2012. Graham Richardson worked for several national teams after ending his active career in 1998 and spent many years as an ice coach In 2015, Graham has been named Head Coach Development - Bobsleigh and was part of the National Bobsleigh Program leading up to and including the 2014 Sochi Games.
Professional Footballer Jack Blake
I had the pleasure to have coached Jack Blake played many years from when he joined Nottingham Forest Academy FC since he was aged 11 up to today. Sadly he was robbed of his moment to become a professional footballer in the English Permier League by sport politics. Never the less, it has never stopped his dream and moved to the US where he has definately made a name for himself.
England Students RFU warm up
I was S&C Coach for England Students RFU between 2012 and 2015 and loved it!
Igls, Austria Winter Olympics medallist
Who would have thought that I would admire one of the former GB 1964 2-man bobsled Gold Medal winners, Nash & Dixon's names at the opening ceremony of the IX Olympic Winter Games. The latter name Dixon had a very significant outcoming with me coaching his Grandson Rory Dixon at GB Skiing! Small World indeed!
Rory Dixon, Grandson of the infamous 1964 Winter Olympics 2-man bobsled Gold medal winner brakeman, Robin Dixon. Rory was a regular GB podium skier and was an exceptional fit athlete. FACT: Downhill racers clock out at 40–60 mph and Olympians tend to ski between 75 and 95 mph, depending on the conditions, their equipment, and their body composition.
Jack Blake in the US
Jack won the 2017 Young Player of the Year award in one of the country's second tier divisions - the North American Soccer League (NASL). He followed suit with his team the Real Monarchs Winning the USL Championship Title (Equivilent to The FA Cup). Pleasure to have coached since he was 11 years old.
He ran a PB of 46.36 at the Worlds in Doha, Qatar. One to watch!
